Browns Gold Coast - Francisca
The Gold Coast is a very pretty city, it is very warm and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Browns is a friendly school, the teachers are generally older, and the classes are not so dynamic. That being said, the classes are very personalized and each student has their own school “passport” which is used to measure their individual strengths and weaknesses. Each Monday there is a test to evaluate each students’ progress. The school organizes many activities for the students every day, including on the weekends, when there are great opportunities for things to do, and everything is free for us as Browns' students, or at a discounted price.

Browns Gold Coast - Berbar
I have arrived at the Gold Coast. The Browns School is really great! There are never more than ten students in a class, and the teachers are really nice, creating dynamic courses. As for the accommodation, it is great! We have a gym, sauna and are close to a lot of facilities in addition to those at the school. In regards to the city, it is close to everything, and there are plenty of trips you can do to places nearby, and of course, it has beautiful beaches nearby so it is perfect.

Browns Gold Coast - Rocco
I have now finally returned to Switzerland. The language stay was great! It was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had! The Gold Coast especially was great, especially for surf fans and beach enthusiasts.
For anyone who likes the beach or to party, the Gold Coast is the best destination, especially because there are so many students there. I was also able to meet so many people from all over the world. Gold Coast has so much to offer, even if you just want to go jogging or visit the beautiful beaches. The Gold Coast is one of the best surfing spots, making all surfers’ hearts beat faster. The important thing is that you buy a surfboard from the outset, time flies by so quickly that you almost forget all of the things you want to experience!
The school itself is very modern and has a good program. The staff is very helpful, polite and friendly (clearly, if you enjoy almost nine months of sun a year you cannot be in a bad mood). However, the only criticism I have to make is that the FCE class was programmed as 12 weeks, and I attended only 10. It was difficult at the end. Especially because very complex topics covered in the FCE exam were only taught in the last weeks. This was hard for the pupil and the teachers. Furthermore, the walls between the rooms were quite thin, and you could hear noise from the room next door. This was tedious, especially during exams.
I would like to thank Yalea for making this possible. It was an experience that I will never forget, and again will always look back on with a tearful eye, but for happy memories.
