Our partner school is part of the International House World Organization founded in 1953, which has a network of over 150 language school worldwide. International House Manchester has been welcoming students from all over the world to their school since 2005.
As well as their range of high quality standard and private English courses, the school has also specialized in giving IELTS exam preparation lessons and has even started their own “IELTS Club” which allows students to access past IELTS exams to practice at no extra cost.
The school has a warm and friendly atmosphere which you will recognize from when you first arrive. Located in the heart of the central business district in the cosmopolitan university city of Manchester, the school is just a short walk away from the famous Piccadilly Gardens. Here you will find the main point of public transportation, with which you can easily access the entire city. The school is housed in the historic Brook house with bright, comfortable classrooms that are spread out over one floor of the building.
The team at International House prepares a weekly activity program which includes excursions on the weekends. You can often take part in these as a part of the course cost, or at an affordable price. The staff are also happy to help you with the planning of your own personalized program of activities. Additionally, if you are interested in working in Manchester after finishing your language course, the team will also find help with your application and interview preparation.
All teachers are well qualified, with a university degree and a DELTA certificate (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Trinity Diploma or Cambridge certificate.
